Our Pastor and Volunteers
Pastor Jon Schultheis
"Hello, I'm Pastor Jonathan Schultheis and I would like to tell you a little about myself.
I am a life-long resident of Keansburg. I graduated from Keansburg High School in 1979 and from Princeton University in 1983. I played football during these years and was captain of both my high school and college teams. I was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 1983 but decided to forgo a career in the NFL.
I worked for 20+ years as a teacher in the Holmdel school system, work currently in the St. Mary's School of Middletown, and earned a Master’s Degree in the Art of Teaching in 1998 from Marygrove College. As a classically trained pianist, I also double as church organist alongside our gifted worship team.
I am happily married to Celeste and our children, Sammy and Mia, keep us both young! I also love to exercise and am a certified Sports Conditioning Specialist.
I am honored to serve the Lord in the church that my parents
founded and credit them with leading me into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I also cite being introduced to Ravi Zacharias as a pivotal moment in my Christian life when I discovered that “what I believed in my heart, could also make sense in my mind!” which is a message which I consistently teach to my congregation.
I look forward to you joining us as we study God's word!"

Worship Team
“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” ~ John 4:24
The worship team at Anchor Bible Church seeks to glorify God through music, singing, prayer, and thanksgiving because He is worthy of all our attention, affection, and adoration!
We join together every Sunday to lead our congregation in humble, whole-hearted, joyful praise and worship knowing that we serve the one true living God who has chosen to dwell in our hearts and transform us into the likeness of His Son, Jesus Christ.
It is the most humbling and rewarding privilege to sing/pray to the King, and we are beyond grateful and amazed that God would choose to call sinful wretches like ourselves to lead His people in worship each week.
“Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” Psalm 136:1
